2.
WILLIAM RÖNTGEN
Born on March 27 1845 in Remscheid, Germany
In November of 1895 he defined radioactivity by discovering the X-Ray
Through the experiment of cathode Rays, he discovered that atoms were negatively charged molecules
3.
HENRI BECQUEREL
Born on December 15, 1852, in Paris, France.
He showed matter can emit energy by itself, without first being 'charged' by the sun
He left uranium salt crystals in the sun to absorb energy when he realized he didn't need to charge them.
4.
MARIE CURRIE
She was born November 7, 1867, in France
She discovered radium and polonium and named them
She took Henry Becquerels work further by doing her own experiments on uranium rays
The Rays remained constant no matter the form of uranium
Her theory was the came from the elements atomic structure
Her idea created the field of atomic physics
