ENCYCLOPEDIA

• Sevral of his books were translated into latin
• The encyclopedia included knowledge of Timbuktu, the Sudan
• and the head waters of the Nile also.
• It was known very well because of its accuracy

BIOGRAPHY

• At age 16, he put together explorers information
• He had created the first up-to-date map
• Later he created a circular map that was divided into seven climate zones
