Erosion Definition:
actions of processes such as such as water flow or wind, which remove soil and rock from one location on the Earth's surface and move it to another place

This is an example of erosion by gravity, as the rocks are falling down due to gravity.

This is an example of erosion when vegetation is removed from a hillside.

This is an example of erosion along a river in Minnesota.

Erosion caused by water.

Erosion caused by wind.

Erosion caused by glacier movement.

Physical Weathering:
Weathering is the breaking down of rocks, soil and minerals as well as artificial materials through contact with the Earth's atmosphere, biota and waters.
