Tuatara belong to an ancient group of reptiles called sphenodontia.
All the other species in this group are extinct.
Tuatara look a lot like there ancestors did two since the time of the dinosaurs.

Dug a burrow in the ground and laid her eggs
The eggs where oval, white, and leathery
Honey left them alone to hatch
After 184 days (about six months) the eggs began to hatch
