PRESENTATION OUTLINE
R is for rumble. A rumble is a fight. R is for rumble because ponyboy and his gang had a rumble with the socs and ponyboy gets beat up and gets his head all cut up.
S is for store. This is because during linch ponyboy goes with two-bit and Steve to the store to get some coke,candy bars and cigarettes.
T is for theme. This is because ponyboy is almost failing his language class so his teacher makes him write a theme(story) about anything that he wants. He writes his theme about his experience and it is the book the outsiders.
U is for university. This is because Darry wants ponyboy to go to college (university) and ponyboy wants to go to college so that he wont have to be in a gang his whole life and can do better for himself.
V is for victory. This is because the greasers won the rumble and were victors unlike the socs.
W is for wide-eyed. This is because ponyboy was wide-eyed when Johnny died because he couldn't believe that he had died.
X is for Xanadu. This is because ponyboy and Johnny went to the church and thought that it was a beautiful place. They went to the church after they killed bob to get away from the police and the socs.
Y is for yearn because ponyboy could not get over the fact that Johnny had died.
Z is for zippy. This is because when dally and Ponyboy were at the hospital and Johnny died dally ran out of the hospital like the devil was chasing him and went and robbed a gas station.
