• Brought back different spices and plants and animal skins from North America

Ferdinand Magellan

• Almost completely circumnavigated the worlds oceans
• Died in the Phillepines, but his crew finished the voyage

Columbian Exchange

• Successful trading golden age between the Native Americans and Europeans
• Exchanged animal skins, guns, spices, and plants

Conquistadors

• They banned the possession of iron weapons for the citizens.
• They originated in Spain

The Northwest Passage

• It was created when the ocean wasn't as high
• The first Americans crossed over a land bridge into North America

Middle Passage

• This was when slaves were brought over from Africa by Europeans.
• The slaves were sold as if they were cattle.
