PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Step 1:
Know the community you teach in so you can understand where the students are coming from. It's harder to relate to someone you don't know.
Step 2:
Teaching outside the classroom requires student and teacher cooperation. It is a new experience for both of you so don't be critical of one another.
Step 3:
School and community partnerships cause students to notice the importance of their community causing them to show pride and respect for their surroundings.
