  • In 1981 US published story about it.
  • They were studying for 10 years on the disease
  • It was first discovered in 1930
  • It evolved in champanzee

SPREAD OF AIDS

  • It is spread in r different ways
  • Pregnant women can spread it to their baby's
  • Aids is now recorded to be all around the world
  • It first spread from Africa

ORPHANS

  • Child who's parents have died from aids
  • 11 million kids are aid orphans
  • There are 7,000 aid orphans a year
  • In 2005 the highest number of AIDS orphans

ECONOMIC IMPACT

  • by reducing the availability of human capital.
  • Many governments in sub-Saharan Africa denied that there was a problem for years,
  • The Copenhagen Consensus is a project that seeks to establish priorities
  • By killing off mainly young adults, AIDS seriously weakens the taxable population

  • It is a drug to cure aids
  • It is a very expensive drug
  • It will not completely cure you just let you live longer
  • A few people in the world have access to the drug
