Surrealism-
noun

a 20th-century avant-garde movement in art and literature that sought to release the creative potential of the unconscious mind, for example by the irrational juxtaposition of images.


Frida was an artist during the surrealism period.

Surrealism was a movement in art in the late 1900's early 2000's. There were many great artist to use this technique like Victor Brauner , Hans Bellmer and Frida kahlo .

RELATIVE SIZE.

Although surrealism is one movement there are different techniques for example juxtaposition ,relative size, levitation, and irrational combinations as I listed in the slides.Frida painted more of irrational combinations than any of the other examples I've listed.
