Silk Road

I started in Xian I figured I would miss my home. I started of on horse back. My wife packed me a cold lunch of dumplings and rice. That didn't last long. I will especially mis waking up and seeing this temple that you see now.

STOP 2 TURUFAN CHINA

  • It was mostly desert very hot and dry.
  • It was too hot and dry for my horse I had to take a camel.
  • The food was great lots of good grapes and melons and stuff
  • The culture there is gushi or jushi.
  • I slept in a very low sitting bed and it was firm also.

KASHGAR

  • This place was also mostly desert
  • They recommended I take camel back
  • Most people here are Chinese and or Islamic
  • I ate Chinese foods and western foods there
  • I slept in a higher bed but thinner mattress than in turufan

BAGHDAD

  • The area is parries with a hotter climate
  • It was cool enough with enough water I took my horse
  • People here are Arabian
  • Food here varies mostly Iranian
  • I slept in a small bed sitting low with a very thick mattress

ISTANBUL

  • Istanbul is a peninsula with a nice ocean breeze and is nice and cool
  • I decided to mostly use horse back but when I came to a body of water I used a boat
  • Most people are Turkana and they all love to swim
  • Famous and delicious food in Istanbul was the simit
  • I slept in a medium sized bed with 2 mattresses put together

BOSPHORUS STRAIT

I CROSSED THIS AREA IN A BOAT AND MY TRIP WAS FINALLY DONE
