THE WICHITA MOVED TO TEXAS IN THE 1700'S

The Wichita Indians were farmers, so they raised crops of corn, squash and pumpkins. The also hunted Buffalo and deer and collected fruits and nuts to eat.

THE WICHITA BUILT WIGWAMS FOR SHELTER.

CLOTHING

  • Moccasins
  • Plain long shirts
  • Knee legnth dresses that were made from buffalo hide

FARMING/HUNTING/GATHERING

  • They planted crops of corn, squashes, and pumpkins
  • They hunted deer and buffalo
  • They gathered fruits and nuts

-Religious beliefs were given by mythology.
-The children with dolls and other toys. They also made up games to play.
