PRESENTATION OUTLINE

ANIMAL CELL REEF

BY BEN WANG

Scientists wield much power over reefs because they can arrange for the "reproduction" of new reefs (albeit artificial) and they can save reefs from global warming and toxic waste.

Anemone keep out unwanted visitors with their poison, and let in visitors like clown fish.

Algae are the producers of the reef, without them no one has the energy to survive.

The reef is home for all the organisms, whether it is a sunken ship or a rocky ledge, reefs make for great habitats to live in.

All of the organisms in a coral reef depend on the tiny plankton for their oxygen. Everybody, from eels to hammerhead sharks, need oxygen.

All living organisms in a coral reef have to modify oxygen so that they can use it.

In the coral reef, energy is transferred, or "exported", by means of the food chain.

All of the fish in the coral reef contain food and waste in their stomachs.
