- The indians would pick the side who had the best future

- American colonists resented king George
- He was keeping them from settling new farm lands

- King made each coloniest take care and house one red coat
- Many coloniest didnt like this idea

DECLARATORY ACT
- The Declaratory act happened in 1766
- It was England showing there power to the colonists

TOWNSHEND ACT
- The Townshend act was in 1767
- It was created by a man named Charles Townshend
- The king was losing loyalists
- Charles came up with a way to get the loyalists back he created tax's and gave the money to the government
- The taxs was not voted on

- The night of march 5, 1770
- Colonists harass boston red coats
- The red coats shot
- 5 dead including 2 boys
- Paul revere saw the massacre happen and painted a picture that made it look worse

BOSTON TEA PARTY
- The Boston Tea party happend in 1773
- The sons of liberty refused trade with the king
- The sons of liberty dumped 3 million dollors worth of tea in the ocean
- They started trading with the Dutch
