PRESENTATION OUTLINE
The first festival is La Candelaria. This means "the feast of candles." This celebrates when Jesus was taken to the Temple in Jerusalem for his ceremonial redemption.
The second festival is San Juan. San Juan's night in Spain is a feast consisting of a multitude of bonfires, fireworks, music, dancing, sardines and bread. It is a tradition to celebrate the summer solstice.
The third festival is Las Fallas.Las Fallas de Valencia. Las Fallas is undoubtedly one of the most unique festivals in Spain - a Spanish fiesta where the whole town is literally set ablaze!
The first food item is Gazpacho. Gazpacho is one of the most world renowned Spanish dishes. It is a cold soup, sometimes referred to as a liquid salad, that is ideally served in the summer.
The second food item is Iberian ham. Iberian ham is known for its top quality. Iberian ham comes from the back legs of Iberian pigs, dried with salt and cured.
The third food item is Spanish rice pudding. Spanish rice pudding (Arroz con Leche) is a typical creamy dessert in Spain that is made by cooking rice slowly in milk with sugar. Rice pudding can be served cold or hot and is usually accompanied by cinnamon, raisons, vanilla or lemon shavings for additional flavor.
The fist city is Vigo. Vigo is the largest city of the of Galicia region and is located on the Vigoria, a coastal inlet formed by a drowned river valley.
The second city is Cuenca.In the center of Spain, between Madrid and Valencia, sits the province of Cuenca and its capital city of the same name.
The third city is Segovia. Segovia, Spain. Located just an hour outside of Madrid, Segovia is a treasure trove of Romanesque monuments.
The first piece of architecture is the Alhambra. The complex palace of the Alhambra has been keeping watch over the city of Granada for centuries. It was the palace of the Nasrid dynasty, the last dynasty of the last Muslim King of Spain, between the years of 1238 and 1492.
The second piece of architecture is Mudejar architecture of Teruel. The Mudéjar Architecture of Teruel was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site at 1986 because it illustrates a significant stage in the human history.
The third piece of architecture is Seville Golden Tower. The Seville Golden Tower is located on the shore of the Guadalquivir River next to the Plaza de Toros de La Maestranza of the city. The Golden Tower of Seville, or the “Torre del Oro” in Spanish, together with the Giralda Tower, are the two most emblematic symbols of Seville.
Bull fighting
Bullfighting is certainly one of the best-known-although at the same time most controversial-Spanish popular customs. This Fiesta could not exist without the toro bravo, a species of bull of an ancient race that is only conserved in Spain.
El Guernica

Flamenco is a genuine Spanish art form, or, to be more exact, a genuine Southern Spanish art. It exists in three forms: el cante, the song, el baile, the dance, and la guitarra, the guitar playing.
Modern Spanish music
There are plenty of popular Spanish songs and international Spanish artists like Joaquin Sabina, David Bisbal, Luz Casal, Alejandro Sanz and Julio Iglesias that fill the radio with Latin rhythms and Spanish pop music.
Classical music
Spanish music is not only represented by flamenco Spanish artists such as Montserrat Cabellé Opera, Placido Domingo, José Carrera and the late Alfredo Kraus have also greatly impacted the classical music genre and are internationally acclaimed.
Fernando Alonso Formula 1 racing
Fernando was born in 1981 in Oviedo, Asturias (northern region of Spain), and his father's interest in go-karts influenced him from an early age. Long before his Formula 1 debut in 2001, he was winning championships and creating a stir in the world of Motor Sports. His first two years in the sport were relatively quiet, and it wasn’t until 2003, his first season with French team Renault, that his potential was fully appreciated.
Skiing
While Spain is famous for its sunny beaches, very few tourists know that it's skiing during winter that gives the country its attractive “holiday-getaway” charm. Spain is home to 5 main skiing regions: the Pyrenean Range, the Cantabrian Range, the Iberian Chain, the Central Chain and the Penibetic Chain.
David Villa
Professional soccer player David Villa has a biography of a true champion. David Villa has accomplished his dreams as a player with Football Club Barcelona and internationally with the Spanish National Football Team which went on to win the World Soccer Cup in South Africa in 2010.
Fashion in Spain
Spanish fashion has found great success all over the world. Spanish designers, models, and internationally celebrated brands have all achieved high praise on runways in Milan, London, New York, and Paris.
Spanish brown bear
The Spanish brown bear is one of the most endangered species in Spain. Their is only and estimated 80 brown bears left.
The ghost island of San Borondón
During the 15th-century Spanish conquest of the Canary Islands, an aboriginal folklore story from the islands (rooted in Celtic legend), spoke about an 8th island that was sometimes seen to the west of La Palma, El Hierro and La Gomera. Many sailors chronicled how, in attempts to reach its shores, natural phenomenon like thick mists, winds or storms would impede clear views or access to the island, which would vanish just as fast.
