  • Most Americans place a high value on morality and tend to view the world in terms of right and wrong.

  • People who are quick to help those who are less fortunate than themselves.

EFFICIENCY

  • They believe ever problem has a solution.

PRACTICALITY

  • Dealing with a situation or involves determining the most practical responds to the issue at hand.

PROGRESS

  • Look forward to the future with optimism.

MATERIAL COMFORT

  • The belief in the ability of science and technology to make a world a better place.

EQUALITY

  • Americans believe that citizens have the right to express their own opinion.

DEMOCRACY

  • The belief in equality extends to the form of government that Americans value- democracy.

  • Americans particularly value personal freedoms of choice.
