WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, AND WHO WAS COLONIAL AMERICA?
The nations of Europe rushed to claim land in America in 16th and 17th century.
New Netherland was settled by the Dutch in 1624.
When the first people arrived they had to build houses from scratch.
The colonies were bought indentured servants.
In 1775 conflict between the colonists and England became the Revolutionary war.
