• Settled in a costal area he called Vinland.

CHRISTOPHER COLUMBUS

• Born in 1451
• He was trying to find a new triad route to Aisia.
• He sailed with three ships Nina, Pinta and the Santa Maria.

FERDINAND MAGELLAN

• When he died his crew sails for him
• Was a Portuguese navigator.
• Megallans was the first crew to circumnavigate

COLUMBIAN EXCHANGE

• Brought back many farm animals back.
• Brought back corn,potatoes and cocoa.

CONQUISTADORS

• Looking for gold and silver.
• They wanted to convert the Aztec to Christianity

NORTH WEST PASSAGE

• Was a trip from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean.
• Many people were on this voyage to find America.

MIDDLE PASSAGE

• More than a million Africans were enslaved.
• Disease spread quickly on the ships.
• They were chained together and packed as cargo.
