GYMNOPHIONA

Also called Apoda. Most of this group is with out limbs and look like a snake. Most of this group likes the wet, tropical areas and they are found all around the world. There is not one certain reproductive way over this whole spices it depends on some only mate during the rainy season and some reproduce once a year. Most of the food of choice is soft bodied animals like earthworms and they either eat on land, or under it or in the sea where ever they are.

This is probably the Most diverse group. They are found throughout most of the world except in polar regions, some oceanic islands, and extreme deserts.
Fun fact! There is no scientific difference between frogs and toads.
The name Anura means without tail. Most have external fertilization and adopt a mating posture amplexus to ensure the egg meets the sperm.

They are lizard like in external appearance, they are distinguished from reptiles by the lack of scales and claws. But they are also their own sub-group because they have a tail that stays with all through adult hood. They are a benefit to humans because they help to control the mosquito population.
