  • Restlessness or felling keydup or on edge
  • Being easily fatigued
  • Difficulty concentrating or mind going blank
  • Irritability
  • Muscle tension

GENERALIZED ANXIETY DISORDER, PHOBIC DISORDER, AND PANIC DISORDER

FACT
Anxiety disorders are partly genetic but may also be due to drug use including alcohol and caffeine, as well as withdrawal from certain drugs

OCCURS WITH

  • Mental disorder
  • Major depressive disorder
  • Bipolar disorder
  • Eating disorders
  • Certain personality disoders

FACTS

  • Not common among mail offenders about 6%
  • More common among female offenders(PTSD)
  • Offenders with harsher backgrounds
  • More with men and woman who have been victimized (sexually)
  • More common with juvenile and adult sexoffenders
