FOOD SAFTEY FOODBORNE ILLNESS

  • Foodborne illness is any illness resulting from the consumption of contaminated food, pathogenic bacteria, viruses, or parasites that contaminate food
  • Most susceptible to elder pregnant women and newborns
  • Most common symptoms diherria vomiting
  • If You are showing symptoms of this illness you should go to the hospital

CAUSES OF FOOD BORNE ILLNESS

  • Bacteria starts to grow every 20 minutes or less
  • Cleaning is just wiping the area & sanitizing is using a chemical based cleaner
  • Steps of hand washing make sure you use hot water clean under your fingernails 20seconds
  • Make sure you wear closed toe shoes and use certain heat protector items
  • You should never wear any droopy clothing because you could get burned

CUTS

  • Ways to prevent cuts don't rush learn how to use your knifes
  • If you get cut clean with alcohol apply pressure to stop bleeding and put a bandage on it
  • Sweep up broken glass pick up the big pieces
  • If you have a grease fire put a top on it wait till it goes out
  • Cut away from you
