LIFE CYCLE OF FROG

• Frogs can lay more than 20 eggs.
• The eggs are normally laid at the pond.
• A floating of eggs is called frog spawn.

THE TADPOLE

• The tadpole has tails and it looks like a fish.
• After about 21 days,the eggs will turn into a baby frog called tadpoles.
• They eat small plants called algae.

THE ADULT FROG

• The tadpole begins to change and look more like a frog.
• The tails become smaller and they will have lungs.
• They will shed their skin and lips.
• The legs will grow.

FUN FACTS ON FROGS

• Their tongues are strong and muscular.
• Tadpoles look more like fish than frog.
• Only the male frog can croak.
• Agroup of frogs is called an army.
