  • They didn't want to spend the money on colonizing.
  • England's first settlement of america went badly.

  • John cabot is england's most well known explorer.
  • He was born in 1450 and passed away on 1499.
  • He discovered aries of america in 1497.
  • The lands he discovered ate called Nova Scotia, Grand banks, and Newfoundland.
