Animal Riddles

My claws are like switchblades and retractable to my prey.
My teeth cut like scissors, In every which way.

I urinate backwards to mark trees as I pass. It’s my little way of making sure my warning lasts.

It marks my territory from bushes to grass.
Try not to cross my path, or I’ll leave you with a gash.

I learn to hunt after just one year. Any moving target will do, they’ll tremble in fear.

When I’m ready, I challenge others for their territory. As long as I stay strong, I will have victory.

By the ripe age of four, I can have my own litter. And in the Savanna, winter is not cold and bitter.

Have you guessed what I am? It’s not that hard. I’m a well-known animal. I’m not that odd.
