ICE ON FIRE

MY PROJECT

• I tried to light ice on fire
• I used alcohol and fire
• I poured the alcohol on the ice and set it on fire
• It didn't work

My hypothesis was that the more alcohol you add,the slower the ice would melt. The reason I thought it would turn out that way was because the alcohol is like a shield because of its thick liquid ness .

REASONS WHY MY PROJECT FAILED

• I discovered that there was a certain type of alcohol used
• I also realized that there is instructions I left out
• The alcohol I was supposed to use was 91% ethanol
• I used 91% iphosolyis

OTHER WAYS THAT WOULD HAVE WORKED

• If the ice was regular water that was in a wineglass
• Glass is very important in lighting water on fire
