Ottoman Empire falls. It begins to fall in 1700s when they lose Greece and North Africa.British and French convince the Arabs to give against the ottomans.
Modernization of Turkey. By 1923 the last Ottoman sultan is driven out of turkey. Mustafa Kemal becomes president turkey turns into a moderne state.
The beginning of modern Iran. A similar thing is happening in Persia. In 1921 Reza Khan takes over and becomes king.
Arab Nationalism. Arab ethnic groups are untied by language. 1932 Saudi Arabia is formed and it is very poor. 1930 oil is found and Saudi Arabia becomes wealthy.
