BEAM
- Simplest
- Most inexpensive
- Most support over huge distances
- Able to stand great forces of nature

ADVANTAGES
- Easy to build
- Good strength
- Difficult to damage
DISADVANTAGES
- Weak in large distances
- Cannot hold heavy load
- Very costly (steel)
