Formulate testable hypothesis is the ILO in critical thinker. I chose Where did the Mass Go? I chose that because my hypothesis was "the mass will change when an object burns." It was an experiment and it was right because at the end the mass did change when the object burned. It w the fourth hypothesis I make and get it right. I have improved a lot on formulating my hypothesis and being able to not redo my experiments.
I chose that ILO and artifact because in order to do good on a lab you have to read the instructions and follow your procedure. You can't do anything without reading because what to do because chances are you will do everything wrong. Some chemicals have to be taken care of very carefully because who know they can catch on fire or even make an explosion. I have done a lot of experiments and I always follow the instructions because I have known people who come out with a burn or other things.
I chose this ILO and artifact because it might not show the whole paper but I worked with Isley and Sonia. We worked together in order to be able to have the results we needed. We worked hard on it and it wasn't that bad we all learned how to work in a group and be able to reach the goal we wanted to.
I chose this ILO and artifact is to show that there is math and that you have to show your work. You have to show your work in order to be able to get your full points. You can never solve any problem without work because you will not have any knowledge by solving it in your head or copying off from someone.
I chose this ILO and artifact because there is a difference between a theory and a law. Is that a law is used to summarize results in different times. A theory is providing an explanation of how everything is in Nature. It's like if the law was able to tell us what happens and the theory tells us why it happened or happens.
I chose this ILO and artifact because you have to know what you can use during labs and other things that have to do with chemicals. Important things are like having hair up, having cover toe shoes, googles, gloves, and probably aprons. People who don't use these things might end up hurt or burned.
I chose this ILO and artifact because it helped me through this year to be able to do my own work. I mean like I was able to do my stuff on my own and then check with the other people and we would see how far we would get. Most of the time I would be able to start a small little discussion in my own group so it helped me a lot.
This year in class I learned a lot more than I thought I would. I really don't know that there was math involved in chemistry. I learned that it is sort of hard to work with others that I don't know. Being able to learn the scientific notation it helped me and the formulas didn't work for me. They didn't work because I couldn't remember them and understand I would ask my friends who knew and still it was hard for me. Next year I plan on being able to memorize my stuff and using it in the real world.
