Our Chief Inspiration Officer, Catherine, likes to pick one text layout and use it throughout her presentations, for a cohesive, polished look. Sometimes she uses a different layout to signal a new section in her presentation. Here's an example:

Others like picking layouts based on what feels right for each slide's unique image.
Our CEO, Adam, however, prefers to keep his slide layouts dynamic. He tends to choose his layouts slide by slide, selecting the layout that looks the best with each particular image. Here's an example:

TRY BOTH LAYOUT METHODS
Now that you've made a few Haiku Decks, we bet you can actually make TWO short ones in two minutes.
Make two decks on the same topic - one with the same layout throughout the deck, and one with some variation.
Here's a prompt:
Try making one version using the same layout on each slide, and another one with a different layout for each slide.
To really save time, you can copy the first deck you make and adjust it accordingly! To copy your deck, use the gear icon on its preview thumbnail in the Main Menu (iPad) or My Decks (web).
