• SSGT.Derr was a radio operator for Howard's plane.
• A radio operator is reponseible for all the radio equipment on Howard's plane.

• Don Holmes was an engineer for Howard's plane.
• An engineer knows all about the plane's equipment,and how it all works

JOE MARLOWE

• Joe was a temporary bombardier on Howard's B-17(old ww2 bomber plane).
• A bombardier is responseible for aiming and dropping the bombs on targets.

Who's plane crashes over Holland when his plane was shot down during a bombing run.

The lesson of the story is never say never, never give up and don't tread on the great U.S.A.

The main problem Howard faced was getting caught
By the German scum ( at the time they were scum know there not).

The resolution to Howard's problem was that he was hide in places that the Dutch hid him, but got caught after a while.

Some of the main points of the story was that first Howard join the Airforce in Michigan(boo!,and at the time there was no Airforce it was the army air core).

The second main point was that Howard and his crew went off to England to the new ( to them) base to get assigned a bombing run.

The third main point was when Howard's B-17 bomber crashed over Holland and was by him self (nobody in his crew with him).

An event like what happen to Howard was when I was in the woods by my self surviving off the land eating fish, herbs ,a rabbit.

Except when I was surviving I was in the woods but he was in Holland running from Nazis.

But we were both brave, Especially Howard he spent
Along time a matter of maybe a year of running.
