  • Most of Central Asia is Arid and Semiarid
  • Central Asia is near the equator.
  • Parts of Central Asia are humid continental and mediterranean.

NATURAL RESOURCES

  • In Central Asia some natural resources include Petroleum, Oil, Bauxite
  • Petroleum is found in Saudi Arabia the economy is centered on oil production
  • Oil is found in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan in both countries it is a main export
  • Metals & Machinery are a major trade surplus for all of Central Asia
  • A trade surplus is a postive trade balance

PHYSICAL FEATURES

  • Tigris is formed by two union branches, Kura and Murat
  • Zagros Mts. were formed by collision of Arabian and Eurasion Plates
  • Tuarus Mts. were formed by the collision of European and African plates
  • Aral Sea was started by the melting of the Scandinavian Ice Plate
  • Caspian Sea was formed by the action of onshore winds on river sediment
