SPINNING SOLOR SYSTEM AND A SIMPLE MACHINE

WHAT IS IT?

• My project consists of a spinning solar system
• Who's sun lights up
• All using simple machines
• Simple machines being a wheel and axel
• The Electricity being a light bulb and motor

WHAT'S IN IT?

• Painted styrofoam planets
• A wheel and axel to make it spin
• Marbles
• Several dowels
• A light bulb and battery pack

HOW DOES IT WORK:SIMPLE MACHINE

• A string is tied and wound around the middle
• Turn the wheel and axel which the sting is tied to
• This turns the wheel inside the container
• Making it spin

HOW DOES IT WORK:ELECRTICAL

• The wires on the battery pack
• Connect to the light bulb
• Completing the circuit
• Making the "sun" light up

PROBLEMS AND CHANGES

• The layout and foundation
• Top heavy
• Wouldn't spin at first

CONCLUSION

• Teaches how to analyze for the best solution
• Figure out alternatives when things go wrong
• Putting simple machines and electricity together
• Learning how to take a concept and put it into project by yourself
• Made a model of a solar system that made the planets orbit the lite up sun
