Early life:
Janusz was born on July 22, 1878 and his birth name was Henry Goldsmit. His Dad was an attorney and he had a mother and sister. When Janusz was 8 he joined Augustyn Szmurło primary school, which was known to be a strict school. He did not like school very much but he loved literature. His father got sick at this time and sadly passed away. To get by financially Janusz had to help his family out by giving lessons to people for money.
Professions:
Janusz was a doctor, author, worked for a polish radio station, published children's newspapers, and served at a court as an expert witness. He studied medicine for a while, but gave it up to open up an orphanage and help children.
