What am i doing?

• A band of four 17 year olds from the Gold Coast in 2011
• You can find them on Triple J's Unearthed website
• The perform gigs from Brisbane to Sydney
• Their other interests include: reclining chairs and bad photoshop jobs 

The basic idea

• A girl is at a bar listening to Electric Zebras play
• The lead singer is dressed in an adult sized muppet costume
• They begin dating, it will be like a real relationship
• They move in together but things begin to deteriorate
• It all ends in a physical fight in which he is taken away in a police car

How i'm thinking this will work

• It will basically be a montage of a relationship
• The song is 3 1/2 minutes long so roughly about 11 scenes
• Around 7 locations (sorry!)
• Cast: A female lead, the band, her parents, and a bunch of extras
• The scenes will vary visually to make it interesting

• Contrasting wide shots and close ups
• I really want this to be visually appealing; use of colour is important
• Lighting style will be as natural as possible
• No need for a sound recorder
• Editing style will be an important factor

I'm not good at selling myself

• But I do know that this will be hard work
• At times, it will probably suck
• It is going to take a massive effort from all departments
• It is a pretty big risk
• It will be hell to produce

all i know is

• Production design will hate me
• I need a producing team that is invested
• I am pretty calm in (most) stressful situations
• We're not here to do what is easiest
• It has potential to be really great
