He could not quickly change himself from a Jewish nationalist to a spiritually minded internationalist. Four years wasn't enough time to teach him. However, Jesus was always patient with him.

• His occupation before becoming a disciple is unknown
• Judas is the son of Simon Iscariot
• Judas was the treasurer and carried the disciples money bags
• Judas betrays Jesus and hangs himself

JUDAS ISCARIOT
Judas was apart of the "Kiss of Judas". The Kiss of Judas was when Judas betrayed Jesus for a bribe known as "thirty pieces of silver". He identified the person with a kiss.

FUN FACTS
-Judas means praise
-During the last supper, Luke says that Satan enters Judas. (Luke 22:3)

• He took the place of Judas since he committed suicide.

Matthias Death
He was beaten, his stomach was torn out and set afire. His eyes were gouged and was forced to drink poison. He then died by being stoned. Even though he was already dead, they beheaded him.
