What is the American Dream?

• It is when someone wants to succeed in life
• To achieve it they have to find a job
• They use the money to find a home and buy clothes
•  By completing this they find a happy life in America
•  They now have a happy and successful life 

Melting Pot?

• Immigrants coming to America from all sorts of states
• Metaphor for coming together like vegatables in a pot
• America is like the pot and the immigrants are the vegatables
• All these people are new to the land because the come for a better life
• America is the huge melting pot

Immigrant Debate

• Immigrants take job which would otherwise go unfilled  
• increase overall productivity
• Illegal immigration refers to the migration across
• Country and Congress immersed in a debate about these proporsals

AMERICA IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO COME AND A PLACE WHERE MANY PEOPLE WANT TO BE FOR A BETTER LIFE
