EXAMPLES OF PREJUDICE
The girl wanted to try out for the boys football team,
However she couldn't because of her gender.
A modern example of prejudice is looking down upon friends with less twitter followers.
On a basketball team, African American players are quickly judged as better players.
3.
SOME QUOTES ON PREJUDICE
"Prejudice is the child of ignorance" (Hazlitt). Meaning judging somebody
On something they can't control is ignorant.
"If we woke up and were all the same race, creed, and color,
we would find some more causes of prejudice by noon" (Aiken). Meaning we will always be prejudice
4.
...CONTINUED
"We don't have as much prejudice as we did 40 years ago,
but today it is much more educated" (Olmos).
Meaning people are much more educated now when they make assumptions of others.
