Age Of Dinosaurs

  • The oldest dinosaurs were 230 million years old
  • Dinosaurs were some of the oldest animals

Names of dinosaurs

  • Microraptor, and Iguadon
  • Apatosaurus
  • Stegatsaurus
  • Triceraptor
  • Edmotosaurus

  • Gastonia Burgie
  • Ultrasaurus
  • Aurgentinosaurus
  • Maiasaura
  • Coelyphysis, and Compsognathus

Size

  • The tallest dinosaur was the Ultrasaurus.
  • The shortest dinosaur was the Microraptor
  • The bigest dinosaur was the Argentinosaurus
  • If you stood by some types of dinosaurs legs you would not be able to touch
  • their knee. Compsognathus dinosaurs were about the same size as a chicken

LOOKS

  • Vegetable dinosaurs had teeth that looked like a horses teeth 
  • Meat dinosaurs had teeth that looked like a lions teeth
  • Their backbones were meant to carry heavy things

The first dinosaurs in space were the Maiasaura and Coelyphysis.

A Coelyphysis skull was brought into space by the space shuttle Endeaver on January 22, 1998

Newly discovered dinosaurs got their name by the discoverer. Sometimes it is named to describe something about them, their location, or to honor someone. Tyranosaurus Rex means: king of the tyrant lizards.
