what they are, why you chose it and how it impacted you

- Full Immersion Schooling K-7

- My grandparents founders of the university

- The opportunity to work on my vocation - teaching- since I was very young without having a teaching certificate.

Colegio Americano del Pacifico K-7

What is it: My K-7 education in a full immersion school.

Why you chose it: Gave me the opportunity to learn another language other than Spanish

How it impacted you: It helped me empathize with my students and the opportunity to be able to attend ASU

My grandparents were a big influence both founders of Sonora's state university.

What is it: My grandparents both were founders of Sonora's state university.

Why you chose it: My family is important and consider that they are a great influence in my love of teaching.

How it impacted you: I learned to love learning and teaching. Helping others and serving the community.

Another experience

  • I've worked with second language learners K-12 and College level
  • I have always loved teaching since I was 20.
What is it: My work experience

Why I chose it: I've been teaching since I was 20 and have learned from every class.


How it impacted me: Being able to teach and follow a dream even when at the beginning was challenging.

Why I chose it: Attending a teacher preparation program has helped me be a better teacher.

How it impacted me: I have been able to teach here in Arizona and

S.M.A.R.T Goal

  • Apply what I have learned through TL3C Institute by applying the investigations model in at least 6 lessons every semester using the ACTFL standards. This will be achieved by the end of the school year.
