The consumer buys a bottle then when the consumer is done he/she throws it in the recycling bin.
The glass is taken to a glass treatment plant.
The glass is sorted by their color because some have chemicals. Then they get washed to clean all the germs on it.
Then it gets crushed, melted and molded into new forms like jars, bottles,
Then the glass is sent back to the store and goes through the whole cycle again. Glass does not degrade through the recycling process so this process can go on forever
Now you can go buy a glass bottle and while you drink it, you can think about how it is decomposed.
