SPECIFIC PHARAOHS, BELIEFS OF EGYPTIANS, JOBS OF EGYPTIANS

Specific Pharaohs

  • Cleopatra: Born in 69 BC.
  • Khufu: Ruled in the first half of the Old Kingdom period.
  • King Tut: Egyptian pharaoh of the 18th dynasty (ruled ca. 1332 BC – 1323 BC
  • Akhenaten: Ruled from 1353 to 1336 B.C.
  • Hatshepsut: The first female ruler. Ruled for 15 years starting at 137b.c.

Ancient Egyptian pharaohs were considered to be both divine deities as well as mortal rulers.The throne of Egypt was primarily intended to be succeeded from father to son. however in many cases this line of kingship was interrupted by murder, mayhem and mysterious disappearances.

Egyptian belifs

  • Bast: The lioness godess of the sun.
  • Ra: The god of the sun. 
  • Geb and Nut: The god of the earth.
  • Horus: The falcon god.
  • Osiris: The god of the dead.

The Egyptians believed in many different gods and goddeses. Most of them had Heads of animals.

JOBS OF ANCIENT EGYPT

  • Scribes: Writing down information that we have used to figure out their past.
  • Farmers: They grew many different plants to sell or eat themselves.
  • Slaves: There only jobs is to work, work, and work! For example the pyramids.
  • Soldiers: They are to protect their empire against other empires.
  • Those are some out of many jobs in the Egyptian Empire.

In ancient Egypt, there are many different jobs for the Egyptians to do. Each job must have a certain person doing it. Like if a farmer was a scribe. He wouldn't know what to do. So a scribe should do the job of a scribe.
