PRESENTATION OUTLINE
On May 20th 1789, Marcellin Champagnat was born in a poor village in France, where he worked on a farm amongst his nine other siblings.
Saint Marcellin founded the Maridt brothers on January 17th 1817
In 1823 St. Marcellin Champagnat was caught in a snow storm, but after praying the memorare to Mary, he was saved.
In 1840, at the age of 51, Marcellin died from a long battle against cancer, but left behind many Marist schools, and a message that will last a lifetime.
