Communism
The principles of communism were created by Karl Marx. It's a concept that states that all of society, economics, and politics were combined into one classless automatic and government-less society that is based on the common ownership of all economic means of production and social sameness. This concept applied to mainly the lower social classes and working class.

Animalism
Animalism was created by the boar on the farm named old major. His ideas of Animalism were that all animals are equal, they all share the wealth and, that they share a common enemy which is the farmer. The animals believed that these ideas were good so they put them into action.

How communism changed
After Karl Marx created communism Vladimir Lenin created the communist party in Russia. Their ideas were the same in which they both were a classless and government less society and all products must be shared. However when Joseph Stalin came into power he created his form of communism which led to a dictatorship and the rich would receive all the products and the working class would work or they would be killed.

How animalism changed.
After the basic concept and ideas of animalism were established the pigs Snowball and Napoleon took control. They generalized the original ideas of animalism which were that everyone is equal and humans are bad. But soon after the rebellion the pigs began to change the rules. They began to take advantage of the other animals by taking the milk and apples because they "needed the strength". They also began to adapt human characteristics like killing, drinking alcohol, and living in houses.

Propaganda in the USSR
Propaganda was used to manipulate the people's views on opinions in the USSR. The glavlit were the soviet unions propaganda system. They would eliminate undesirable materials and make sure that every ideological spin was put in every article. They put propaganda in schools, radios, cinemas, trains, and books. The themes in the propaganda were usually based on a new leader or society, a class enemy, and a mass movement among the citizens.

Propaganda in the Animal Farm
In the farm propaganda was used to manipulate the animals into thinking they know what really goes on in the farm. Squealer was the farms organizer of propaganda. He would change the views on the animals opinions as to what they thought of the actions of Snowball and Napoleon. He justified the actions of his leaders when they took the milk and apples by saying they needed it for strength so they could defend the farm from farmer Jones. And when they began developing human characteristics like living in houses.
