What are the major contributions of japan?
The Japanese people were focused on honor, showing it and living by it. They also wrote lots of literature. They created many poems like tanka poems and haiku. They painted, using landscape art and used water colors.

How did geography affect japan?
Japan did not have much farmable land because of mountains they could only farm about 20% of the land. The amount of farmable land affected how rich the daimyo was, the more farmable land, the richer the daimyo was.

What did the social hierarchy of japan look like? Shogun --> emperor -> daimyo -> samurai -> farmer -> artisan -> merchant. The emperor did not have the real power because, he did not control the military, the shogun controlled the military. Therefore giving him the most power. -->

What did was the Japanese hierarchy?
The daimyo were military lords of cities. Daimyo were under the shogun. Samurai were the soldiers of feudal japan. Farmers were below the samurai, because they produced goods with their hands. Merchants were at the bottom because they buy and sell other peoples goods and try to make a profit for themselves.

How long did feudal japan last? Feudal japan lasted for about 250 years. From about 1338 AD to about 1573 AD.
