  • The degree of relative difference between elements
  • size 
  • shape
  • placement
  • use of lines

Rhythm

  • Repeated use of line, shape, color, texture, or pattern
  • Gradated- same with the exception of one element
  • Regular- element is repeated at the same interval
  • Random- repetition of the element is situated at irregular intervals
  • Graduated- closer of further apart
