State

  • State is a solid, liquid, gas
  • 1. Particles pack tightly together to create a solid. A wooden block is a solid.
  • 2. Water is a liquid because particles bump into each other.
  • 3. Gas is air. The particles spread far apart. They can also move rapidly and can also bump into each other.

Color

  • Color is a property of matter that scientist use to describe and compare.

  • Something you can touch or feel.

  • Temperature is how hot or cold an object is.
