My name is Jake Hafferty. I have lived in Sandwich for all of my life with my family. I have made many friends in this town and enjoy playing sports here.

I have two brothers, a sister, and a dog named Ice, I am the youngest in my family. My oldest brother is named Billy, he like to do marathons, bike races and triathlons. My other brother Bryan is a math teacher, he used to teach at sandwich until last year when he moved to Easton, last weekend he finished his first triathlon in which he came in 6th overall. My sister,Stef, is always there to make me laugh, She also enjoys running and playing with my dog.

I love to play sports, I have been playing football for nine years now and I have been playing lacrosse for five years. I play offensive line and defensive end in football and defense in lacrosse.

I really enjoy the tv series Sherlock, I like it because it is action packed and suspenseful. My brother and his friends showed it to me and I have been getting some of my friends into it.

I like to go to the beach with my friends and family. My friends and I play sports on the beach, we play things like football, lacrosse, vollyball, and soccer.

My favorite football team is the New England Patriots, my favorite player is Vince Wilfork, a defensive lineman. Last season i went to a playoff game with my parents and my sister where they beat the Indianapolis Colts.

My favorite band is the Red Hot Chili Peppers, My favorite song by them is Can't Stop.

Last summer my family traveled to New Hampshire. We rented a huge house and invited some of my aunts, uncles and cousins to stay with us. we stayed for a week. While we were there we went to the beach and did some kayaking and swimming in lake Winnipausauki. We also went to a zoo with different caves that we got to explore.

A few summers ago my parents took my friend and I to Canton, Ohio to see the football hall of fame. I really enjoyed seeing all of the history that is behind one of my favorite sports. This was one of my favorite vacations.

One of my favorite times of the year is when my whole extended family piles into my house for thanksgiving dinner, I love to be surrounded by my family, We tell jokes and play funny games, it can get pretty crazy!
