• Trapped in cave .
• Get Poly drunk then stab his eye in
• his sleep.

• Aeolus gives Ody a bag of wind to help
• him get home.
• Told not to open bag.
• Ody's crew opens bag and now they
• don't really have a way to get home.

LAESTRYGONIANS

• Ody's ships other than his own are
• destroyed.
• The men on those ships are eaten by
• cannibals.
• Ody's ship sails to Circe's island.

CIRCE'S ISLAND

• Some of Ody's men go to
• explore the island.
• They find Circe's hall and have
• a feast then turned into pigs.
• One man tells this to Ody.

• He goes to Circe's island.

• obstacles he will face in the

SIRENS

• As Ody's men sail on they pass
• the sirens.
• The men put beeswax in their ears
• so they won't hear the sirens songs.
• Ody listens to the songs while tied to

THE SHIP.

SCYLLA AND CHARBYDIS

• Ody has to either sail toward Scylla
• or Charbydis.
• If he sail for Scylla he loses six men.
• If he sails for Charbydis they all die.
• So he sails for Scylla and six of his men

ARE EATEN BY SCYLLA.

ISLAND OF SUN GOD(HELIOS)

• Ody and his men land on the island.
• The men are instructed to not eat cows.
• The men kill some of the cows and feast.
• They are punished by death due to their
• disobedience.

CALYPSO'S ISLAND

• Ody is exhausted after floating
• in the ocean due to having no ship.
• Once on calypso's island he rests
• and catches up on what's happened.

LAND OF PHAEICIANS

• Ody sails to Phaeacia.
• Goes to a banquet.
• Asks minstrel to sing a song
• about him.
• Ends up tell people his story.
