DIABETES

  • Disease that effects persons blood sugar which gets high
  • Result of pancreas not making sufficient amount of insulin
  • Symptoms:frequent urination, hungry but loses weight, thirsty
  • With time their could be circulation problems, loss of vision, damage to kidneys
  • Nerve damage

ASTHMA

  • Affects lungs and airways
  • Muscles of bronchial tubes tighten up excess mucus is produced
  • Usually starts as result of allergies, exercise and weather can start attack
  • Airways inflame due to dust, mold, pets, exercise, and cold weather

PARKINSON'S DISEASE

  • It is unknown to what causes this disease
  • Nerve cells in the brain don't function properly
  • Affects muscular system
  • Symptoms:tremors and disability involving movement
  • No cure at this time

SKIN CANCER

  • Cacer cells in outer skin layer
  • Caused by:uv from sun or tanning beds some hereditary
  • Some start as sore that doesn't heal
  • If detected early they can be removed if frozen or surgery
