  • Animals such as zebras,rhinos,gazelles,cheetahs,and hyenas
  • There are other animals such as lions,elephants,leopards,and starlings.

SAVANNA'S CLIMATE

  • The range of temperature in the savanna 68 to 86 fahrenheit.
  • The most rainfall falls between March and November.
  • With an annual rainfall of 10 to 30 inches.

INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT SAVANNAS

  • Many animals of the savanna are endangered due to overhunting and loss of habitat.
  • Some animals in the savanna, like vultures and hyenas, are scavengers which eat other animal's kills.
  • Many of the animals in the savanna have long legs which helps them when migrating long distances.
  • Most of the plants will survive because they have extensive root systems that allow them to grow back quickly after a fire
