• Perú is located in South Africa and is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. Perús population is 30.38 million and Minnesotas is only 5.47 million

HISTORY

• Perús capital is Lima with a population of 9.13 million. In 1821 perú proclaimed independence after a long time of dictatorship

PEOPLE/LIFESTYLE

• Most people in perú live in cities or towns. Middle class people have occupations such as: office workers, military officers, and business workers.

CULTURE

• For fun people in perú like to play soccer (futbol) , basketball, volleyball, and have bullfights. Some language that are spoken are: Spanish, Aymara, and Quechua.

SOCIETY

• Perús government is made up of three autonomous and independent powers: Executive, Legislative, and The National Congress. The current president is Ollanta Humala Tasso. For currency they mainly use coins, and bills.
